Zappos Shoe Store Review 

For as long as I’ve been shopping online, Zappos.com has been offering the best selection, prices and superior customer service in shoes. 

They have over 1200 brands,  free shipping & returns and helpful shoe reviews -  I’ve even contributed a few reviews myself ;-)

They've done so remarkably well they have expanded to providing over 2.7 million additional products that include clothing, bags and accessories and more. 

Buying Shoes with Benefits

The Zappos product line makes it worth your while to shop online. They have free shipping both ways, on every delivery and they are noted for their superior customer service.  I should know, I have bought many a pair of shoes at Zappos and they always over-deliver on expectations. 

The pictures and descriptions of the shoes helps you to know exactly what  you are getting, in fact Zappos now has a video that you can view for any shoe you choose.  The videos have real models wearing the shoe so you can actually see how it will look on the foot.  I love being able to see how a shoe really looks when worn, great shopping feature.

Even though Zappos says they deliver within 5-7 business days I've always received my shoes within 2 business days, sometimes even sooner. 

The shoes always come with clear return information,  pre-paid return postage and the shoes are generally ‘keepers‘.  Of course there has been the occasional shoe that didn’t really look quite right on my foot, but with their easy and free return policy -  it’s no big deal,  I can simply exchange them for another pair or get my money back, no questions, no hassles.

Of course don’t forget they also have a 365 day return policy and get this, if you want free overnight shipping, they can do that too.  If you’re like me and often leave shopping to the last minute, that’s a pretty great benefit.

If you hate walking the malls trying to find that perfect pair of shoes,  my suggestion is keep the miles off your feet and try letting your fingers do the walking at Zappos.  Their service,  selection and easy to shop website is what any shopper can appreciate the most.

Accepted form of Payment: 

Zappos  currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Bill Me Later, and PayPal. They do not accept Cashier's Checks or Money Orders.

Shipping Info: 

 Zappos ships for free to all US States and Territories. But just because they have free shipping doesn't mean it takes forever.  They will tell you it takes 4-5 business days, however I have received shoes from them in 24-48 hours. 

Should you need to return your shoes, that is also free.  Zappos sends you all the information and paperwork to return them quickly and conveniently and with no charge to you whatsoever.

Zappos ships to U.S. Territories, Canada and Military APO/FPO addresses.

Sales tax

A Sales tax will be added to orders being sent to California, Kentucky, or Nevada. Shipments to California are subject to 7.25% sales tax. Shipments to Kentucky are subject to 6% sales tax. Shipments to Nevada are subject to 6.5% sales tax.

What don't I like about Zappos?

Zappos no longer has their 110% price guarantee. After speaking to a Zappos spokesperson they've decided to concentrate their efforts more on quality and bringing the best shoes and shoe brands to their customers.  Because of this they no longer offer a price guarantee, however their sister site 6PM shoes does continue to offer the guarantee.

Because Zappos is so popular they sometimes run out of the shoe sizes you need. They also run out of various shoe colors. But in the Zappos great customer service tradition, just let them know what you need and they will order it and let you know when it has come in.  They really are #1 in customer service and satisfaction!
